Pyramid Hill light show preparation

A million plus lights are being set up at the Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park in Hamilton for this years light show. The display will take up to 7 weeks to prepare for and feature lighting displays covering over a hundred acres of land. The Light show, which has been voted The best show in the Tri-state for the past 4 years, will run from Nov. 20th - Jan 1.

Area firefighters participated in a training fire Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, off State Route 123 in Turtlecreek Twp. The house was burned as a training exercise and fire departments from Turtlecreek Twp., Salem/Morrow, Harlan and Wayne Twp. were on scene.

50th Anniversary meet at Kil-Kare Dragway

It seemed like a Sunday afternoon at the dragstrip in the ’60s; hot rods cruising in, gassers ripping down the asphalt, and guys and gals cheering from the bleachers. It wasn’t 1965, it was August 2009 and Kil-Kare Dragway was celebrating its 
50th anniversary, the idea of former 
Kil-Kare manager Ed Crowder.
